Studio A is the primary production space for Audio Alchemy consisting of a control room adjacent to the main tracking area, with spill over to the "lounge" (OK, its a living room, but it's comfortable and can be used as spill over tracking space as needed).  The tracking room is comfortable for a 4-5 piece band to set up for "simultaneous live tracking" and spacious for drum tracking and the recording of other live acoustic instruments.  Depending on your style and the nature of the session, vocals may be recorded in the Live Room or the "Lounge" with some variable acoustic adjustments.  

For the tracking of instruments with amplifiers and speaker cabinets, speaker cabling infrastructure has been routed from the control room of the Studio A space to Studio B, where guitar cabinets can be isolated from the main studio level. This allows the ease of cranking amplifiers for overdubs or even for capturing the sound of a real cabinet during a full tracking session.  Of course, we also have options for capturing  electric instruments direct if that suits the needs of the production, or capturing the direct sound of your guitar head for use with impulse responses of various guitar cabinet emulations later.  

Most musicians will want to use their own personal instruments, but sometimes for the creative process you may want to borrow some of the in house instruments, or discuss borrowing/renting a specific instrument that completes the vision of your end product.  You may also desire the use of electronic music production/programming or sampling for your particular production.  We have several in house drums, guitars, basses, amplifiers, pedals, processors, samplers, and synthesizers which may be of use for your production and are provided as a complimentary service of the studio.  Please just let us know so those items can be reserved and checked for availability for use during your session prior, as some instruments may be periodically loaned out or require service. 

If it makes sound, we can find a way to capture it and make it a part of your production.
